Letter from the SALA-GROUP Staff
We are writing you today
with very heavy hearts. On September 11, 2001, thousands of
American citizens were horribly murdered in several dastardly terrorist
attacks within our boundaries. Our prayers and deepest sympathies
are with all the victims and their families.
Our dream has
always been about building a GLOBAL community. . . a brotherhood of men
and women from every walk of life, united in the goal of improving lives
and working together for mutual benefit.
Although we’ve
often referred to our objective as “putting a dent in the universe,”
what we really mean is CHANGING THE WORLD, making it a better and safer
place for our children and our grandchildren.
Like hundreds of
millions of people around the world shaken by this catastrophe, we too
have been deeply shaken; however, even though we here in America have
had our very foundation attacked, our objectives in pursuing our dream
will not change. We WILL make the world a better place and we CAN
have peace on earth for all people. All of us at SALA-GROUP™ (Sam,
Jodi, David, and Harold) are determined to be a part of that peace.
No matter where
you live in the world, we urge you to get personally involved. Do
whatever you can.
We firmly
believe that we are at a great crossroads in history. What we do
at this moment will greatly affect the rest of our lives, and what all
of our futures will hold. We can either be proactive and have GOOD
come out of this tragedy or we can let negative decisions be made for
us. Remember that we here in America are an extended family, and
together, as a family, we can do things in the coming weeks, months and
years to help make sure this happens NEVER AGAIN.
Let us all unite now.

An open letter to all
inhabitants of this planet called Earth from an old man named Sam
DID THE
TERRORISTS MISCALCULATE?
The answer is an
understatement! These despicable individuals with no regard for
anyone other than those who support their “cause” have unwittingly not
only united the inhabitants of the United States of America, but have
most likely helped to initiate the beginnings of a united mankind.
My life-long dream of leaving our children and grandchildren a world
with one race – the race of mankind – might have been propelled forward
by this dastardly deed.
We Americans, as a
nation, are the most generous people on all the Earth. We’ve aided
a majority of third-world nations in helping to bring them into the 21st
Century. Other than the Gulf War, where we had a strong coalition
of allies, we have always been one of a few countries that helped other
nations advance their technology thereby enriching the lives of their
citizens. It pleases me that Israel, our strongest ally in the
Middle East, has also sent not only technicians to these third-world
nations, but also has provided medical and humanitarian aid. Now
the terrorists, with their vicious attack and utter disregard for human
life, have united countries all over this planet as never before in the
history of man.
President George
W. Bush has publicly announced that there “will not be a cave to hide in
nor a rock to hide under that we will not search out” and bring each and
every one of these cowards down. Secretary of State Colin Powell
has also publicly stated that any nation aiding and abetting these
terrorists will also be considered an enemy of freedom-loving people
everywhere. To the point, the United States of America will
consider a host country as an enemy who is just as culpable as the
terrorists themselves.
After hearing the
rescue workers yelling “USA, USA, USA” at “Ground Zero” during the
President’s recent visit to New York, I’ve asked friends and associates
from all over America to help me provide wearable Americana to proudly
display for the world to see. These pages are the fruits of my
efforts.
All of the
merchandise in our Americana Pride Department * is priced with our
regular Suggested Retail prices; we have not altered nor raised them.
Why are we doing this? Because John F. Kennedy once said, “Ask not
what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country!”
It’s time to do something for my country.
